Krark was originally designed as a standard Red Mutant to spearhead attack waves of Zarks. However, due to complications during production, Krark became something more, so production on any further Krarks was immediately stopped and all units were withdrawn. All except one, which had already been deployed to Zoidstar to aid the Red force.
This defective Zoid had a vision of an all powerful united Red and Blue Zoid army. knowing there was nothing that couldn't be achieved with this, he set out on his quest to join all Zoids... Krark is armed with two chest mounted laser cannons, dual ballistic missile launchers, 4 wing mounted rocket pods and 2 wing mounted laser cannons. After charging up, Krark is able to emit a high pitched 'sonic scream' to temporarily disable nearby Zoid controls. The two ears serve as highly sensitive scanning equipment. Since Krark has very little wing surface, he relies on anti-gravity units to stay airborne and can fly at Mach 3. Though Krark has room for 2 AA batteries, it is quite capable of running on just one. Krark walks along, flaps his wings and swishes his tail. The neck bobs up and down and the moth opens and closes, and he also emits an 'evil scream' which sounds more like stress on the motor. with a little modification, a small bulb can be fitted in the hollow front section of the motor to give off an eerie glow. |
